My sister happened to be in in Colorado, so earlier in the week we headed home to help dad celebrate.
Leslie and I put on party dresses for the occasion. This is the only picture I got of us together. Of course, I have my eyes closed. Boo.

Happy birthday dear dad! How did you like those trick candles? We should have put 65 of them on the cake, but then he'd probably still be blowing them out.
I'm proud of my dad. He worked hard for many years at a job he really didn't like, but still finished strongly. I know he will enjoy his retirement.
